Collin County Animal Services shelters all lost/stray
pets from Farmersville,
Frisco and McKinney.
Each of these cities provide their own animal control services. Please
contact your city directly for animal control service information and
requests.

Crossing, Lucas, Melissa, Nevada, New Hope, Princeton, Prosper and all
unincorporated areas of Collin County
Collin County Animal Services performs all animal control
duties as well as sheltering all lost/stray pets from all unincorporated
areas of Collin County, and the cities of Anna, Celina, Fairview, Lavon, Lucas, Melissa,
Nevada, New Hope, Princeton, and Prosper.

Available for Adoption through the SPCA of Texas, McKinney
Please note that Collin County Animal Services partners with the SPCA of Texas to
handle all animal adoptions. The Collin County Animal Shelter handles only the rescue and return of
animals to their original owners when possible. Unclaimed animals left at Collin County Animal Services
for more than 5-days will be evaluated by the SPCA for adoptability and, if deemed adoptable by the SPCA,
will eventually be transferred to the SPCA of Texas, McKinney shelter so that they can be made available
for adoption.

| Low Cost Vaccination Clinics |

Low cost vaccination services are offered to the public on a quarterly basis. These vaccination clinics, held in conjunction with the Texas Coalition for Animal Protection, will be held from 10am to 12pm at the Collin County Animal Shelter on each of the dates below:

- April 10, 2010
- July 10, 2010
- October 16, 2010
No appointment necessary. Vaccinations given on a first come, first served basis.
