Lake Lavon Bridge Route Study

The Lavon Lake Bridge Route Study was a result of 2007 bond election, in which voters approved funding for a preliminary route study to find the optimum alignment should a bridge be built across Lavon Lake. After public meetings on the topic, the Collin County Commissioners Court voted on Oct. 11, 2010, to reject the Lake Lavon Bridge Study and update the County Thoroughfare Plan by removing any proposed new bridges. The documentation for the study and the material presented in the public meetings is posted below.
