  • Basic law enforcement training at Dallas Police Academy.
  • Served as a Dallas Deputy City Marshal from 1972 - 1979.
  • Served as a Patrolman, Investigator and Sergeant for the McKinney Police Department from 1979 – 1987.
  • Served as a Deputy Constable and Sergeant for Constable Jerry Kunkle in Collin County, Precinct 1 from 1987 – 2008.
