The 54,000 square foot Allen Public Library and Civic Auditorium facility is located in the heart of the developing Central Business District. The library has an extensive collection of books, recordings, videos, art prints, and periodical subscriptions. Services include public internet workstations, interlibrary loan, continuous book sale, and film/video borrowing from the Northeast Texas Library System. Meeting rooms are available for limited use by the public. On-site coffee shop is also available in gallery lobby.

The Charles J. Rike Memorial Library is offers a broad collection of books, audio books, and videos. The library also contains several artifacts about Audie Murphy including stands of photographs, newspaper clippings, drawings, and other information.
