Museum Hours of Operation
• Volunteers open the Museum most Wednesdays & Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

• To ensure the museum is open for your visit, schedule a tour. Please contact the

The Collin County Farm Museum strives to develop a better understanding and appreciation of Collin County’s rural heritage from the earliest settlement through the 1960s. The Collin County Farm Museum consists of 8,528 square feet of collections and restoration exhibits in the Wells Building. Additional artifacts are located throughout Myers Park & Event Center, including the Blacksmith Shop, the Granary and the Confinement house.

What’s Happening at the Collin County Farm Museum?

​PLEASE NOTE: Collin County has changed credit card processing agencies. We now accept payment methods of Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express (with non-refundable convenience fee paid directly to Certified Payments processing compnay and is not included in Workshop fee price list). Cash, Check or Money Order are still accepted as well.

Participants will notice we now only offer evening classes from 6 -8 pm. The morning and afternoon times were removed due to poor turnout. However, if you cannot attend an evening class, you can gather a group of friends and family and schedule a private workshop for the morning or afternoon.
