Actually, we've got more than a hundred of them.

With more than $1 billion earmarked for Collin County road projects, we're trying to make it easier for you to track the progress of a series of projects that will have an impact on Collin County for generations to come.

We have 114 projects from the 2007 Bond Election in which voters approved $235.6 million for local street improvements - anything from road widening projects to intersection improvements. Add to that another 28 large-scale projects being funded by more than $800 million in Regional Toll Revenue* and it's a lot of work on the drafting tables or at construction sites.

Our Engineering Department and Geographic Information Systems joined forces to plot out each of these projects on an interactive map so you can get a quick look or a detailed outline of what phase a road project is in.

From the main map, mouse over the countywide projects for a quick overview of a specific project with its cost, scope and start date, or click a link and look at photographs or more detailed information on the project, such as city-county or city-state partnership on the project, start and end dates for construction, and more.

Optional layer bars from the map's menu button will allow you to narrow projects down to by city or road name, or switch from bond projects to RTR projects.
